About Us
Since 2011, Fabulous Female Boutique has been the place women in northern Ohio come when they want an honest opinion, a real conversation, and clothing that actually works for their life.
We carry better quality apparel, jewelry, accessories, and gifts, thoughtfully chosen for women who care about how they look and value someone who'll tell them the truth in the dressing room. Not just what sells. What works.
Our boutique at Harbor Light Landing near Catawba Island is a place where you belong. You'll be greeted like a friend, given space to look around, and helped by people who know this store and care about getting it right for you.

About Kim
I spent eleven and a half years as a buyer and manager for another local retail business, and I loved every bit of it. But I wanted more challenge, more ownership, and more opportunity to make a real difference for the women I served.
Several sales reps encouraged me to take the leap, so I did. I started with jewelry and accessories at the Sandusky Mall, added apparel, and later moved to Columbus Avenue in downtown Sandusky. For fifteen years, those doors were open to the women of that community. In 2026 I closed the Sandusky boutique so I could focus on Harbor Light Landing and spend more time with my family. What started in Sandusky is still going on here.
The decision was never really about retail. It was about women.
I have known so many amazing women in my lifetime, and when I realized I could have a positive impact on women who needed help I could actually provide, I was all in. The moment that still drives me? When a woman comes out of the dressing room lit up with a big smile. That moment never gets old.
That's why Fabulous Female exists.

About Our World
My husband Gary has been with me every step of the way, doing the things I can't do or don't have time to do, and cheering on me and Team Fabulous. Our two children are both married, and between them we have five grandchildren who fill our lives with joy. Our oldest granddaughter even works with me at Harbor Light Landing when she has a little free time, which makes those days especially sweet.
We believe in this community as much as we believe in the women we serve. You'll find us supporting the Humane Society of Erie and Ottawa Counties, the Ottawa County Community Foundation, the Magruder Hospital Auxiliary, Club Red, and local sports teams that happen to include a few of our grandchildren.
This is our home. These are our people. And this boutique is our way of giving back to both.

Meet Team Fabulous
Allie has been with me for eight years. I first knew her when I was a customer at Elder Beerman, and when that store closed I went looking for her and asked her to join my team. She is now our manager here at Harbor Light Landing. Her gift is building relationships, and customers keep coming back for her as much as for the clothes.
Trese has been with me for more than seven years. She knows this store and our customers and they love her. I trust her completely.
Vicki started out as one of our customers and loved the boutique so much that she joined the team. You may have seen her modeling our clothes. She shows you how things look on a real woman and it's important to me to provide that for you.
Together with me, they are the people who will greet you, help you, and tell you the truth in the dressing room.
